Cal Poly Pomona Landscape Architecture chances?

Hi,
I’m looking at both Landscape architecture majors at the Poly’s (Pomona and SLO), but I have heard the program is rather impacted at CPP. I am a graduated high school student (but not a transfer) with…

3.65 GPA, 1200 (not including Writing) SAT and 1900 total SAT. 29 ACT…

What are my chances of getting in?

CPP landscape arch is not impacted, only architecture. Calculate your EI (eligibility index for cal state), if you meet minimum you will be accepted at CPP.

SLO is impacted, check your MCA for SLO (slo doesn’t use EI) . You can find info under SLO thread on chances and MCA’s.

Thank you that was very informative! I remember doing the eligibility index a while back…ill do it again.

About when do acceptance letters roll around?

CPP will start sending out decisions around late January for high Stat applicants and continue in waves through April.
SLO starts Mid-February through end of March.
You will get an email to check your portal.

4200 eligibility index…is this decent? The minimum is apparently 2900

You look like a competitive applicant for Cal Poly Pomona and SLO. Although SLO is an impacted campus, Landscape Architecture has a high acceptance rate over 60% so you stand a good chance.
