Cal Poly Pomona or UCI/UCSB Engineering Programs

i just wanted to know which engineering program is better, cal poly pomona's or UCI/UCSB. Could anyone elaborate on this for me? I'm only talking about these schools and not other UCs since these are some of the universities I'm applying to.

Would a Cal State engineering program at pomona be a better choice than one at UC Irvine or UC Santa Barbara?

thanks!

What kind of engineering interests you: civil, chemical, mechanical, aerospace?

i’m not sure yet =P i’m into com sci engineering, eletrical, or … civil

education-wise and career opportunities-wise, i think they’re about the same. but i’d go for UCSB for the prestige factor.

You can see for yourself; contact the placement office at each school and find out what companies interview on-campus each year. Seeing who (and how many) companies are recruiting their grads will give you a good idea of what industry thinks of each of these schools.

I truly don’t believe Cal Poly Pomona is on the level of UCI or UCSB for engineering. Cal Poly SLO, however, has them topped.

So I guess then Boeing Company is mistaken about the abilities of Cal Poly Pomona graduates, Arcadefire1027? I understand that Boeing recruits at CPP Engineering and typically makes an offer of employment to more than one graduating senior.
