I was just provisionally admitted to Cal apply Pomona. The only problem is my senior year I failed a math class, but I didn’t need it in the first place because I already have three years. Am I still okay? I really need to know
What does your provisional admission contract state?
You need to pass all a-g courses with a C- or higher regardless if you have already fulfilled the minimum requirements. Contact admissions and see what optipns you have at this point. An F is a reason for being rescinded.

Provision for Admission::::
- Receive a high school diploma or equivalency.
- Complete all senior-year courses as listed on your application with a ‘C’ or better.
- Carefully review the Next Steps required to complete the admission process.
- Pay close attention to all testing/document deadlines and to all correspondence, you receive from Cal Poly Pomona.
- Successfully complete all applicable admission requirements to enroll. To determine if your courses meet the
requirements, you may visit the UC Web site at https://doorways.ucop.edu/list/.
- No later than July 15, 2017 the Cal Poly Pomona’s Office of Admissions and Outreach must receive an official final high school transcript that confirms your exact date of graduation (month, day and year) and verifies your self-reported academic record. Request this transcript well before the end of your senior year to ensure that you meet the deadline.
- No later than July 15, 2017, submit an official report of all of your Advanced Placement (AP) examination scores (3 or above) and/or International Baccalaureate Higher Level (IB) (5 or above) examination results. To have AP scores sent to us, call the Educational Testing Service at (609) 771-7300 or (888) 225-5427; to have International Baccalaureate scores sent contact the International Baccalaureate Office at (212) 696-4464; use Cal Poly Pomona ETS code (4082).
- No later than July 15, 2017, submit an official transcript of all college work you have completed
