Cal Poly Pomona vs. Rochester Institute of Technology(RIT)

I'm a transfer student from local community college in Southern California. My major is Computer Information Systems. Recently, I got accepted to Cal state LA, CSULB, Cal Poly Pomona, and Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT). Before I heard/found out about RIT, my main choice was CPP. After I got accepted to RIT, I changed my mine. Well, I haven't exactly made up my mind yet, but I'm stuck between CPP and RIT.

Both schools are career-oriented schools, rather than theory-based. Also, they have great internship programs. RIT has a co-op program, and my major requires two co-ops in order to graduate. My main concern is, I do not think I will get a lot of financial aids. So far, CPP hasn't sent any financial package yet, but I checked online and it said that I won't be receiving any financial aid. For RIT, i have received $6000 scholarships, but compare to $35,000 tuition, it is not that much.

I will be visiting both schools during my spring break. My parents want me to go to CPP. The thing is, they weren't happy when I got accepted to RIT because I told them that I would choose RIT over CPP if I got in; back then, I didn't know I would get the acceptance letter.

SIR deadline for both schools is May 1st. ...I don't think a month is enough to make a decision. Any advice? Thank you !!

What will CPP cost without fin aid? Will you be living at home if you attend CPP? Where would you get the money for RIT?

A month should be plenty of time to make a decision. Can your family afford both schools?

I haven’t received RIT’s financial package yet. I did contact their financial office, and they said that they were working on transfer students’ and would be sending out around first week of April.
After I got accepted to CPP, I was able to view the financial reward. However, it said it was unavailable. So I’m assuming that CPP is also working on transfers’ as well.

CPP costs around $6000 or less if i choose to commute. For RIT, it costs around $40,000. And nope, my family is not going to support with my financial aid. I paid all of my tuition fees and other school-related fees with my own money (for my last two years in cc).
