Cal Poly Pomona vs UCSC vs SJSU Aerospace Engineering

Hello all,
I am a senior in high school and have recently been accepted to these schools for aerospace engineering. At the moment I believe that Cal Poly Pomona has the edge over UC Santa Cruz and SJSU but I would like to see if you guys have anything to add.

Which is the best program for me to take?

Thank you in advance!

I don’t know if CCP really has an edge over SJSU for aeroE. My cousin went to SJSU for AeroE and he’s been a pilot for FedEx for many, many years. Of course, the Cal Polys are well known for engineering and their hands-on approach.

You may need to consider other things as well. If you qualify for a lot of need-based aid, then a UC would be better in that regard.

What are your plans with AeroE? That’s a limiting major. You may find yourself with limited internship and job opportunities. May be better to major in MechE or EE and include some AeroE courses (minor perhaps), to open up your future marketability.
