Cal Poly Pomona vs USC

If your main focus was on simply getting the most bang for the buck - I'd say go with the undergrad at a CSU, then hang it all out for the advanced degree at SC. The problem here is that an ARCH degree w/transfer to Harvard in the mix would seem to be a tougher problem…but here I’d say you’d benefit from having SC on the vitae.

As for the CSU – it’s all up to the individual student on what they want to get out of their education. The CSU is a good system for those that are college material…but also the last line of defense for those marginal folks that wouldn’t survive anywhere else, which creates a system of varying expectations. In other words:

In the CSU, my ‘C’ = someone else’s ‘A’. I sit in wonderment sometimes at what I see and hear presented as college course “work”.

Fight On!

there should be no confusion between CPP and pomona college given that the latter does not even offer an arch degree while the former has distinguished programs at both undergrad and graduate levels. that said, CPSLO is even better.

"CSU" spelled backwards is "USC" -- conspiracy?
