@messybun or anyone that has been accepted earlier, is any financial aid options showing up yet? If so, how many days did it take to show up?
Hi everyone! i applied as a Sociology major for winter 2018 on June 30th 2017. My status was “documents required” for the longest time and i finally called them and they changed it to “Under Admissions Review” 2 days ago. I am a local student from Mt. Sac, finished my golden 4, have 80+ units. I am so nervous… I applied so long ago so i am so confused why it is taking so long

@purplesuede23 thats still better than mine… mine just changed to under admissions review…
@MLopez24 it took a day or two, I’ve noticed for almost everything it takes a little while for it to process and show up so you could see it.They’re really unorganized though, when I was calling them for info they transferred me all over the place.
Congrats @MLopez24! I’ve heard CPP has a pretty good business program. It’s a great school, it only sucks when you have to process paperwork… or transfer lol. I haven’t seen anything about financial aid. On Dec 1st which is the orientation date, I was going to visit CPP’s financial aid department in person to get the information.
@mkim0114 After documents required I’m pretty sure it was something like “Under Admissions Office Review” and then “Pending Admissions Decision”

@mkim0114 Keep positive, the wait’s almost over! There’s only one orientation date for us winter transfers (Dec 1st) so all the decisions should be out before or by then

I checked several times daily, seriously several times. These were the only updates I saw.
It’s still showing on the portal that they haven’t received my Transcripts, but they have them for sure.

@messybun The denial letter states that I did not meet the state minimum requirements. I spoke with a counselor and she told me that I was out competed by higher GPA students… I don’t have a perfect GPA but I mean 3.25 with an AS-T…

@mkim0114 Not sure, maybe? I’m applying for CIS. I know there has been a huge influx of students going into that major.
