Cal poly pomona with 2.8 gpa?

hi im a high school senior and i wanted to know what my chances are of getting into cal poly pomona. i know my gpa is relatively low. my sat scores are: Math(460) reading(500) writing(520). im applying as an architecture major, it took 4 years of math, and 3 years if CAD architecture classes. i was involved in various architecture & engineering associations and always stood out in those classes. also took 4 years of a foreign language. any advice?

Yeah, you’re not going to cut it. At all. The average student is closer to 1100 (they only care about math + reading)…you’re at a 960. Even if you were in the area, I don’t think you’d have a good chance at all because your SAT score is abysmal. Retake it and study hard for it. Try to get your GPA to a 3.0…but the average is a 3.4 across the board, 3.7+ for engineering, and probably 4.0+ for architecture…
