oh and i’m an hispanic female who’s undecided but is considering business, computer science, and biology majors

You’ll probably get in to all of those places. You also might want to consider some of the Claremont colleges (Pitzer, Harvey Mudd, Claremont McKenna, Pomona). Also, Cal Poly San Luis Obisbo might be good for a student like you, and everybody I know who goes there loves it!

Thanks fortetennis!
i’m also considering other uc’s but i don’t know if they would be more of a reach
i’m not sure about private schools because of the cost (though california public schools are also raising tuition)

[University of California: StatFinder](http://statfinder.ucop.edu) can help you look up admitted student stats at the various UCs.

Remember that UC and CSU have their own method of calculating GPA. They use 10th and 11th grade course grades in a-g subjects only. Up to 8 semesters of honors or AP courses with C or higher grades add +1 (college courses taken in high school count as honors courses for this purpose).

thanks ucbalumnus! i used it and got 3.91

i also got ap scores today
us history: 3
art history: 4
eng lang: 3

i’m very happy i passed (especially the 4) :)

Looks good – but your SAT scores are low for the UC’s. Cal Poly Pomona is a sure fit and one of the best schools you listed. Try the ACT. My kid found it far more accurate for his testing style and it got him into 5 UC’s and both Cal Poly’s (Pomona and SLO).

Also, take a course like Princeton Review. It will up your scores by at least 100 pts. You have good grades. Don’t let the standardized test scores bring you down or limit your choices.
