I just submitted my cp slo app! Now how do i get access to said Cal Poly Portal.
They will email you with instructions for the portal after your application has been initially processed.
@ocgolfdad…Did your son receive instructions yet? My daughter applied early last week and hasn’t received instructions for the portal yet. Thanks!
@Mumstheword2 We have not received any instructions. The application confirmation form stated that it can take up to 30 working days! With ED, I doubt it will take that long, but I don’t expect to hear for a couple of weeks at least.

I have my Cal Poly Portal set up.
@Reef2Reefuser You have a Cal Poly Portal, or a VIP Page? If the Portal, how did you get it set up? Did you get an email from Poly? Thanks.
@ocgolfdad it says My Cal Poly Portal. I can then select student resource center and it shows the application status.
“Thank you for applying to Cal Poly for early decision. We have received your application. No determination has been made at this time.”
To be honest I am not too sure on how I set it up. I received an email, but it only said that Cal Poly got my application, I might have got another email about the portal but I didn’t see it. I went to Cal Poly’s website and played around on there and set up my portal from there. Wish I could be more helpful.
@ocgolfdad - My daughter was also able to set up her portal by going to the Cal Poly website. She hadn’t gotten an email either, but based on what @Reef2Reefuser posted above she decided to try to figure it out. Applied 10/6 for ED and still have not rec’d the portal email, just did it myself…just click on applicant on “my portal” and enter email.
