Do most people who go to Cal Poly take 10 semesters of english? The UC doesnt even say it wants that.

<p>I had the same question so I asked and was told that, like most schools, Cal Poly looks at what you have vis-s-vis what has been offered at your HS. If there are no Eng. electives offered at your HS and 8 semesters is all you can get that's fine. Otherwise they would like to see that you took more.</p>
