Much as I’m a fan of Cal Poly, I think the list is of dubious value, given that Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute is ranked as the 4th best in the world!

Not sure about the list but Poly is definitely famous for its engineering department. Though ANY major at Poly is admirable, the science and engineering programs are top notch for sure. I have met so many brilliant professors and students that really demonstrate the amount of talent at this school. I am not an engineering student but have many friends who are bio medical/mechanical/electrical engineers that seem to be quite satisfied for choosing Poly.

Funny ranking, but interesting. Weird to see RPI at #4 and Harvard in the top 10. However, I love to see Cal Poly ahead of Harvey Mudd and every other UC, which I wholeheartedly agree with. Where were the military academies? They have some of the best programs. Also, tons of foreign schools were overlooked. Although, I am glad to see Technion - Israel Institute of Technology in the top 25. It should be higher, this school produces some of the best engineers and tech related entrepreneurs in the world.
