I applied with comparative ethnic studies in the liberal arts college? If I haven’t heard anything do I still have a chance ?
Sadly a lot of people with astronomical stats still don’t get in. I’m hoping my mere mortal son will even if by som weird glitch in the system. 
But, alas, there are other options.
Well since slo is supposed to be by the numbers, I find it hard to believe a large number of low stat applicants would be admitted while high stat applicants are declined.

@Soccer1317 I was accepted yesterday and today my portal showed an accept / decline button and many other tabs on my account. I also got an email about 24 hours later with a congrats video and more information
I am not seeing any posts for Mechanical engineering in state anyone?
Does anyone know if there will be any acceptences coming out today? I’m getting nervous…
There should be more acceptances today. They will probably go until sometime next week judging by the somewhat limited amount over the last couple of days. Just a guess, but some people will be sweating out the weekend. Hopefully, there are a lot of them today. Hang in there and good luck.
I haven’t seen ANY in-state engineering on this thread… taking that as a good sign as Son is still showing no decision in portal
@b2uty1016 - The rejections come out a couple weeks after the acceptances. So, there have not been any yet, as they have not even finished the acceptances. Closer to early March

@CAMOM888 regarding post #565 “My D’s friend ag business got in (in state) another friend got in for construction mgmt. in state” --this is the only ag business admit I have seen. Do you know the friend’s stats? Male or female? (I know they give out more female acceptances because of the high male yield.)
@Bigguy17 Male. 29 ACT 4.1 GPA In state. But he seems to be the only AG Business accepted that I can tell. My D is also an AG Business major and still shows “no determination” She has similar stats.
@CAMOM888 OK. Thanks. My Cal Poly gpa is only 3.77, but my ACT is 32.(E35,M29) and my MCA is like 4440. (extra points for advanced math, extra science and language, EC 21+ and leadership.) I already was accepted into SDSU Weber Honors College. But now I’m thinking I am not getting into SLO. It’s my top choice. :((

Also, is the GPA that everyone is posting just their 10-11 GPA? That’s all they look at right?
@FinesseDolphin SLO looks at 9-11. My CSU/UC gpa is 3.9 but for SLO it’s only 3.77

@Bigguy17 Dang that blows…my freshman year GPA sucks. I got 5 B’s freshman year and then all A’s the rest of years
