@nafphoto still haven’t heard from Art and Design yet either … not sure how long portfolios are reviewed before decisions posted?
@mullinfox , There was a poster on last year’s thread that got accepted to Art and Design on March 14.
I really wish SLO can improve the notification process for next year…to reverse so rejections are sent 1st and acceptances/waitlist last. Why put a student through so much waiting and anxiety to eventually reject?!
@csus2017 i’m a journalism major and i heard back, i was waitlisted. 3.53/3.64 gpa, 1970 sat
Just received a 1k/yr merit scholarship from cal poly as an OOS student! MCA 4492
@Jpgranier Congrats! Meanwhile, still “no determination made at this time”. Which probably means a rejection
@luckymom22 If you can recall, around what time did your daughter hear back about her acceptance for the kines major?
@TyBlue11 She applied via Early Decision which they don’t have anymore. So she applied in November and got her acceptance on December. Those that did not get accepted via early decision rolled to regular decision and the timeframe that they heard was about the same as it is this year.
Ok, great to hear. Thank you.
@Jpgranier Daughter got the same email tonight. Doesn’t sound like much but every little bit helps. We used to live an hour south of SLO and she would love to go back…we are trying to make it work.
@CAtransplant I’m in state
(sorry just logged back onto this thread rn)
So if I haven’t gotten waitlisted and I haven’t gotten in I’m assuming rejections are coming next?
@eyemgh since waitlists came out yesterday, does that mean the people who still have no determination are most likely rejected?
@navyblue123 I would assume so. I’ve seen lots of acceptances last week and before. Applicants being put on the waitlist is getting bigger each day. But now that’s slowed down, so the rejects should be rolling out anytime soon.

Still have no determination. I knew my major was extremely competitive but wow!
@pufframs Wow, those are some amazing stats. CS and SE are extremely competitive, but surprised you haven’t got in yet. Seems like they’re rejecting some great 4.0 students. Good luck!
Yeah, @pufframs , your stats seem higher than some who have been waitlisted already, and almost identical to my D’s who got in for CS - maybe just fewer EC hours or something? (Sorry :-/ ) All I can figure is that you haven’t gotten CS waitlist yet because they may yet admit you for your alternate. Hope you hear something soon.
@pufframs I’m in the same boat as ya.
