Monday provided the good news of another admit, please post any new admits today and help us all keep the faith.
Thanks
This may be a stupid question but do I need to send my final transcripts before I can be admitted? My status is “no determination”. Im confused because how can I send my final transcripts if I haven’t graduated high school yet. Thanks
PS I’m from UK so this is all a little new to me
Final transcripts are not needed for applying. No determination means no decision has been announced by admissions for you.
Seems this is the first time @mitstate posted in this thread. I’m not convinced he or she just got the acceptance yesterday. I’m going to wait and see before believing any acceptances came out yesterday.
I agree with @jesse’girl since mistate was asking people to chance him in a different thread for Computer Engineering in 2015 and was apparently a Senior at the time. Gap year or ???!**!!!
@mitstate Yea, when was your acceptance sent, any idea? Stats would be nice too.
SOOO frustrated . My D applied, has not heard anything except the ubiquitous “No Decision has been made” - UGH. I called - “again” to the Admissions dept. WHY cant they just deny or waitlist - keeping their options open is irritating to all of the parents and heart-wrenching to all the applicants. Computers be damned. I just want the nightmare to end for everyone soon. They said April 1st, but since most were already notified already, how many kids are going to be waiting for a Maybe - when the other CSUs have made definite decisions. My D may let her pride get the best of her, and not want to go to a school who did not want her first anyway.
Has anyone been waitlisted in Business?
@Suburbialife My portal updated to waitlisted today, and I’m a Business major. Thing is, I am a transfer though
Last year on this date there was no activity. March 1st was a different story. Lot’s of rejections but some acceptances too.
@winonos - an answer is awesome - even if it is not an definitive answer. I wish you the BEST of luck - I am an alum from CP - not that it matters at all (except during cash campaign season!) - it is a fabulous city, great teaching philosophy and it would be a super few years for you.
@Suburbialife Aw that’s really kind of you to say, thank you. I got a chance to tour the campus last year in September with my boyfriend and his family–SLO is definitely a really beautiful place. Our campus tour guide was super awesome, too!
@Goolia66 Last year February 28 was a Sunday though and March 1 was a Monday …
My daughter is still waiting too. I called admissions and they said they are still going to be sending out decisions of all kinds for the next few weeks. She just got denied at SDSU today, though. That’s where I went to school. Kinda sad she didn’t get in, but, her sister is at CP, so hopefully she’ll be accepted soon. If not, there are two UC’s she’s interested in and UCLA sent her a supplemental review, so she might even end up there. It’s just a waiting game at this point.
What is your daughter’s major if you don’t mind me asking…
I’m losing hope in getting accepted to SLO. My intended major is Architectural Engineering.
@Suburbialife my friend was waitlisted for Business
Thank you! @CAtransplant
@Waverider3377 @mas550 My decision came out mid-day on the 27th. I checked around 10am and no decision, but when I checked around 4 it said accepted.
@joe43lax In-state, ~3.9 CP GPA, 34 ACT, lots of rigor, local, staff dependent. Don’t know the exact MCA but I believe around 6k.
@jesse’sgirl Seriously? Would I honestly gain anything by making this stuff up?
There’s no such thing as a 6000 mca
The MCA post quite literally says:
“Max attainable points = 8200.”
Thank you for your constructive, reasonable, and well-sourced argument.
