Someone called my D last Saturday inviting her to join the Open House. But no formal email invitation yet.

@crackerwiz I think most acceptances for freshman have gone out. But possibly not all. So until you get the definitive decision emailed / posted I would remain hopeful.

@katheroone - according to info on the CP parent page of another site, the registration for SLO Days always says spring, but it usually doesn’t open until sometime in mid to late May.
I have looked in the past posts and there is no mention of who/how many get in with their second choice of majors. M D applied for Business Admin, but had a second major choice of Econ. I have not seen many Econ admits, but the BAdmin admits have already come out, and according to one poster at least the waitlist for the BA has already come out. I wonder does anyone know how many are admitted annually on their second choice of major? still holding out hope because the good old portal says No Determination has been made.
working on the portal tonight so maybe more decisions tomorrow.
@Suburbialife, second choices are rarely granted, unless the second choice is not competitive and they need to dig into second choices to fill the major. If they can fill a major with first choice applicants they will.
@Suburbialife - Posts #1218 and 1219 (page 82) are 2 people who announced getting accepted in their alternate choice major.
So, anyone think this website update means rejections will come out tomorrow? 
@Merlin2020 they do these website updates routinely so it’s hard to say.
I had a question. After you accept when do you need to pay the registration fee? My son accepted over last weekend but nothing is showing up in his account to pay?
@4maniars, you won’t need to pay anything until he applies for housing. Then there will be an initial deposit that includes housing and dining. It’s fairly hefty ($2125), but is refundable up to a certain point.
I guess the Art & Design department is done with their portfolio reviews because my daughter was accepted today for Graphic Design.
