My son was one of the many students who didn’t read the fine print and failed to note that he took math in 8th grade, which we found out about during our campus visit in January. He’s been calling and emailing the admissions office ever since, begging them to add his 8th grade math class to his application. Each time the answer is a flat-out “no” – basically tough luck, you screwed up.
I guess the fact that he took AP Calc A/B and B/C, and scored a 5 on the AP Test, isn’t as important as passing an 8th grade algebra class.
