GPA is solid, extracurricular activities are solid, the MCA is not as high as some of the overachievers who have waited tiresomely for their decisions but at least it falls within the 4000 range, and the SAT scores were below their projections for accepted students so if I got rejected I could assume that would have been the big blow. Philosophy is a small major, and although they do not offer many seats, a solid transfer student who wants to have a degree in Philosophy will not be shot down because there is no space for them as with other majors.
