I have a question regarding their “desired semesters”. I meet the “required semesters” but not the “desired semesters” (I have the desired semesters in some subjects, but not all) that they state for admissions.

Would I be better off changing my schedule to classes that will allow me to achieve the desired semesters, or staying in the classes I have that are a bit more rigorous? Does taking more difficult classes take precedence over having the desired credits when they are making admissions decisions?

Depends. What are you taking and what haven’t you taken enough of that they’d like for you to have? I know you get a lot of extra points if you have more math classes, and some extra points of like science and English and stuff. I think someone once posted exactly how many extra points you get, but I don’t remember what post that was in. I just remember that taking extra math gets you a lot of points come admission time.

hmm, I think as long as you meet the required semesters you should be ok. If you have less than what’s required though, you might want to add a performing arts class so that you have enough. If you’re really concerned, you can always give admissions a call or email to see how this might effect your admission status.
