Hey there everyone I was just wondering what my chances are at getting into CalPoly's Architecture program, here are my stats, keep in mind I'm out of state RD

Unweighted GPA: 3.95
Weighted GPA:?(see below)
AP Classes: AP chemistry(B), AP language&comp(A), AP Bio(A-), AP Calculus AB(A), AP literature(pending), AP(pending) Physics C, AP Calculus BC(pending)
SAT: 1st time: 1200/1600 2nd time: 1250/1600
ACT: N/A
Class Rank: 4/150

I have a feeling I have a solid 50/50 chance based on their architecture stats, what really worries me is my out of state satus and so/so SAT scores.

Thanks!

OOS will hurt you, as will the SAT scores. They don’t look TOO much at EC activities, but it would be helpful.

I’d say you have a 50/50 shot. You have your GPA going for you, but your low SAT and OOS going against you. It could go either way

I didn’t put it on here because I know they don’t look at that too much, but I’ve been a varsity football player 4 years, Varsity wrestler 3 years, and Varsity lacrosse player 1 year. Idk my SAT is just 15 below the average for that category I hope it doesn’t swing it that much.

My counselor said that since I visited the school this summer on an official tour, as an out of state applicant that would help me? I’m kind of skeptical about that but Idk is that even a small advantage?
