What chance do I have of getting into Cal Poly SLO and UW-Madison as a business major?

GPA: 3.73uw
4 AP classes out of 11 possible offered at my school
1340 SAT (740 math, 600 reading)
VP of 2 clubs at my school
3-year varsity soccer starter, captain my senior year
Member of Southern California’s Olympic development team and invitee to the US national team’s training camp
Summer volunteer at a surf camp for underprivileged kids
Relay for Life captain… my team raised $28,000 towards cancer research in 3 years

Please let me know what my chances are, as these schools release decisions soon!

If you have not been waitlisted and your decision is pending at SLO, your chances are slim. The usual SLO decision pattern is Acceptances followed by waitlist and then rejections. It is still possible for more acceptances to trickle out but the longer you have no decision, the smaller the chance for an acceptance. Sorry but hopefully you have some other options.
