Do they need mid year grades?
No, they do not ask for Mid-year grades.
@seattlemom1 It’s not much of a secret that most colleges today use a six year graduation scale. Students navigate their way through changes of Majors, Impacted classes, study abroad, adding a minor … this all adds up to extra time.
I applied under journalism and still haven’t heard back yet. Bad sign?
Early Decision acceptances were issued in mid December, so yes, it’s a bad sign if you applied ED. I don’t think RD results are out yet.
3.5 GPA
1250 SAT
27 ACT
early decision
instate/hispanic/girl
communications/agriculture business major
please chance me!
I was told by CP Admissions that they are NOT having ED next year (for fall 2017). What is your MCA score?
I did not see very many posts from those that got into bioscience(s). Can someone post who got in with there GPA, scores and MCA? Thanks!
@SeattleMom1 old thread but our rising junior biology major has had a hard but not impossible time getting her classes though at times down to the wire at semester start. She is doing a summer session at the CC in SLO to achieve a 4 year plan, not sure yet if she will need to do it next summer as well but we are hoping not. As an OOS student it is a cheaper route than an extra year at Cal Poly and a great way to knock out some of her general Ed stuff.
is this thread still somewhat active?

Also if any of you think I should apply for the early decision because of my stats that would be great or your opinion of what needs to be improved. However I’m not sure when aerly decision has to be submitted, so would taking the SAT again in October be safe for that?
Anyway what are my chances and your opinions? ")
As the title says, it’s the 15-16 thread.
@eyemgh can you tell me your opinions and my chances as if my thread were from 15-16?
@Jacobjello58: SLO will not offer Early Decision starting for Fall 2017. You need to go the “What are my chances thread” if you want some opinions.
