<p>Hi guys I'm applying to Cal Poly SLO ED and I'm really nervous about getting in and wanted to know what you guys thought. Thanks so much and feel free to post your info too for Cal Poly ED and we can all be worried together haha.
Major: Food Science (Culinary Concentration)
GPA: 3.6
ACT: composite 32
Extracurriculars: Yes, 11-15 hours a week, leadership position
Related to my major: Yes
Taken and passed 3 APs and I'm currently taking 3 APs this year

<p>I’m not really too familiar with Food Science, but assuming that the GPA you provided is your un-weighted GPA then I would say Cal Poly would be a high match for you. This is under the assumption that Food Science will be easier than other majors, but like I said I’m not sure.</p>

<p>Wow, I think we are all pretty similar. I applied ED as well and I am from out of state, which I think might hurt my chances. After looking at scatter plots I think I have about a 70/30 chance of getting in. Fingers crossed.</p>

<p>@roxy401 I feel like we really are in the same boat! If you go on SLO’s college confidential page there is an official thread for fall 2015 ED applicants! And also SLO actually accepts a lot of OOS applicants for ED because it guarantees extra money for the college! Good luck!!!
