<p>@joogman23 @sdsu2014 Please don’t accuse others of lying just because you haven’t gotten a decision yet…What you need to know is that Cal Poly gives leverage to students who have ALREADY had IGETC completed by the time they applied along with most/all of their major reqs done. I had a 3.68 GPA when I applied (3.74 right now) and 53 quarter units done, but only had some of my core classes done my first year along with most of IGETC. I’m not saying you guys are going to be rejected, but learn to understand that Cal Poly and other schools evaluate each student based on different criteria.</p>
<p>@sdsu2014 @joogman23 I’m just going to attribute your blatant rudeness towards me to the pressures of awaiting acceptance from a school you hope to get into. I was in the same boat as you so I could understand your difficulties. That being said, I don’t see why you are so worried about someone else. To add to that, I don’t see why you would direct that anger personally at me. Cal Poly has made decisions already. Have they made final decisions to all the applicants? Who knows, that’s what most of the people in here are trying to figure out. But don’t fool yourself (Or should I dare say “lie” to yourself?) thinking that everyone in here is lying. That’s counterproductive. I have attached a link to this to show you a screen shot from my “myportal.” Not that I have anything to prove to you, but moreso to show you that some people have indeed been accepted.</p>
<p>I wish you guys the best and hope you get into the Cal Poly. I would just advise you in the future to make sure you aren’t letting your insecurities or uneasiness with your own situation lead you to acting with malice towards others.</p>

<p>Why would you lie about getting accepted? They are accepting all sorts of people its not all about your GPA and with that being said i got accepted with a 3.9.</p>
<p>@babyface11 I don’t think it goes by alphabetical order in last names unless they did A-C (since mine starts with D).</p>
<p>Unless… They decide to choose people in the mid-range stats first then work their way up with the assumption that many people with high stats won’t choose SLO as their first choice… But that’s just my 1/2 cent guess. </p>
<p>I know an accepted business transfer with late name beginning with ‘P’. I think some are trying to hard to find a correlation 8-} </p>

<p>I’m about 80% certain acceptances come out in waves by major, starting with the most qualified applicants, with no guarantee of any further acceptances. Majors in the same college are getting accepted in close proximity to each other as well, based on my observation this year.</p>
<p>Also, I’m thinking tomorrow there’ll be some transfer comp sci & comp eng acceptances.</p>

<p>its based on amt of MCA points. believe it or not, as a lower gpa student you can have more mca points than a high gpa student.</p>
