@simmonsashleigh I will call tomorrow and if nothing changes over the weekend on my portal I will be paying them a visit Monday! If waitlisted they suppose to send you a survey link, take it, and answer if still wants to be considered. I didn’t even get that link yet. Thank you for your help. I hope you will get accepted soon!

This doesn’t help the conversation much, but it put things in perspective for me. I’m waiting to hear from SLO for business administration and have been having a meltdown all day about it (as well as checking this thread all day), but I was sitting in starbucks working on homework when someone got hit and killed in front of the store. No matter where we are accepted, there are worse things that could be happening to us and our loved ones. Right now I’m gonna thank God for my breath and the opportunity to get an education to begin with. Hang in there and know that this one decision won’t alter the course of our lives or even education goals in the long run. Things could be incredibly worse!
@ kaylalajoy first, sorry that happened to you. and also it’s true, but that’s always true at every point in life, and this one decision WILL alter the course of our lives, it could and likely will have a profound and deciding impact on where we work and what we do which will shape the rest of our lives.

@Rachel17 I hope so too!! Tbh I’ve given up hope of SLO at this point. I realized yesterday that there was one course I didn’t realize I needed and it’s too late to take it. Hoping for a waitlist at this point, which isn’t encouraging…
@Rachel17 the email will probably come within the next few days, i’m in the same boat! i looked it up and last year people waited about a week before they got their waitlist email surveys
@mysticalforest Oh, I’m sorry about that. Here’s hoping the news for all of us at least comes soon. :c That way we could move on and plan accordingly, in a more positive light.
@simmonsashleigh I hope we will not have to wait that long! and that we will get our status changing to accepted! This waiting is and emotional and mental torture!
Did any of you receive an email when your portal was updated to accepted or waitlisted? Or did you just see the status change on your portal?
@kaylalajoy I didn’t receive an email for when I got waitlisted, I just checked my portal. I know of some people that got an email a day later congratulating them after they were accepted though.
Yeah I updated them before Spring, but then I also made changes in Spring. I still meet whatever existing criteria they used to accept me like GPA and transferrable units, I just don’t have the same schedule that I had projected.
@kaylalajoy as soon as I saw the first person say they were waitlisted I checked my portal. No email yet!
@Rachel17 wow waitlisted too. I figured my chances were hindered given I am still finishing up my classes, but seeing your stats as well as having everything completed? Pretty odd.
@kaylalajoy I checked my portal and the status showed waitlisted. I didn’t receive any e-mail.
@blasbcptransfer I was shocked that I was waitlisted.
I found out yesterday that I was accepted, here are my stats in case anyone is curious to compare:
