Mystical that is exactly what I said they are only wanting to fill 15 spots I know they accept more to fill those spots and like I said it’s a tough admit no matter what your stats are. So if they accept 3 times the amount that they want that’s an 8% acceptance rate.
What’s all this talk about only filling 15 more spots for?
I am applying as a Business Administration major but I still haven’t heard back from Cal Poly Slo. My application is still pending but I believe that’s not a horrible sign as I have already heard of people getting rejected and or wait-listed.
So yeah I am just hoping that due to the fact that I am still pending, there is still some hope! What do you guys thing?
-GPA: 3.57, all A’s in the golden 4.
-Major prep done with mostly A’s.

Fullerton is only one of a few business colleges that have the AACSB accreditation. IDK if that is a big deal or not tho lol.
Hey guys I got admitted but I totally forgot to tell SLO that I dropped a planned course. The course isn’t required for my major and will not affect my igetc certification or unit count so there’s a good chance they wont revoke my admission right? Also who do I contact to tell them that I dropped a course.
Any Architecture applicants??

@tylerdrod I wouldn’t worry about it too much if it’s not major and not igetc, call admissions if it’s really bugging you but otherwise I wouldn’t pay it much mind
@usctransferivc I am in the same boat as you, same major, golden four, and very similar GPA (3.59). I have no clue

Hey guys I have a question
I recently got accepted to cal poly as a nutrition major and i know I am going to fail one of my classes that I put as PL (planned) on my application. do you think my admissions will get revoked??
@dieticianfatima is it a required class? If so, that could be pretty problematic. Email admissions ASAP when you’re 100% sure you won’t pass.

@Jaximus @upsidedownturtle I called admissions and they said to send them an email and if I do send in my letter of intent, they will review it when I turn in my final transcripts. Thank you for your help!
Still no word. Losing hope at this point… I’m gonna try to get excited about the possibility of other schools so I’m not crushed when I hear back from SLO.

Just to reassure you all, I spoke to some admitted transfer students from last year and most of them said they heard their decisions around late March - early April. Just because you havent heard back doesn’t mean you’ve been denied, so keep pushing!!
Any Political Science Major here? I have no yet been receiving any offers from Cal Poly SLO.
