@TheLongRun It’s not our GPA or major courses I think, there’s just so few spots for business this year they couldn’t take very many. It’s ok we can always go to our backups.

@Jaximus Thanks for providing a possible reason. If they don’t have the spots, then they just don’t have the spots. It’s still majorly disappointing. It would have been nice if they just said outright how many spots they had in the first place. If they had, then applying in the first place may have been up in the air for me, since you can look up how many people transferred to CSUs from CCs.
@FishoMath I applied to SJSU and was accepted a month ago. I also applied to UCI for Business Admin, UCD for Econ (TAG, but will try to change into Managerial Econ if I go there), and UCB for Econ. I’m still waiting on the UCs.
@YengTan I know that you didn’t ask me in particular, but no, I’m not international. I’m a CA resident.
@Robin101 Yeah seems like I got all the required classes and all desired classes except Engineering Materials. And Monday I checked the website and finally saw “conditional admission” there. Hope you also get in brother.

Finished all requirements except one of the Golden Four which is in critical thinking area, and CIS at the time applying. Maybe that’s the reason why I have been rejected. I should’ve finished the Golden Four first.

Last year I got admitted to UCs but turned them down since the tuition was too much for me.
I applied ucb and ucla again this time but just as the alternatives if I get rejected from cal poly.

@oceansun Hey! I am thinking of applying for Child Development this upcoming Fall. Do you mind telling me your GPA, prior college or junior college, and whether or not you completed all the major prep/selection criteria? This would be so so helpful!! Also, do you know of a lot of people who transferred into Child Development? Thanks!
@jules1819 Hi! I applied to Cal Poly SLO with a 4.0, I had all of the major prep and required/desired classes done and in progress when I applied. I don’t know very many people who transferred into Child Development besides the people on this thread or previous transfer threads. I hope that helps! If you have any other questions let me know!

Did anyone else on the waitlist have their application redirected to other CSUs?
I got an email a few days ago saying that because I applied as an ADT student, my application got sent to two local CSUs around my area. I don’t know if this is normal or not. I was told my application is still being considered for the waitlist at SLO, but I guess I got two free applications to other schools for my troubles lol.
