Cal Poly SLO or UCSD for BS in Computer Science

<p>Hello everyone,</p>

<p>Does anyone here know which school has a better computer science program? I've read numerous rankings online, but I don't give them much weight. I want to know what people here thinks. </p>

<p>My biggest concerns are how good the CS programs are and what the job prospects are for graduates. I'm not thinking about going to graduate school. UCSD has the UC reputation, but Cal Poly also has a reputation for engineering. I don't know which one carries more weight on employers.</p>

<p>I will visit both campuses and that will probably be the biggest tie-breaker, but any advice or information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for reading!!</p>

<p>Cal Poly’s CS program is highly regarded by employers. When you visit Cal Poly and UCSD ask to see the list of recruiters for this year.</p>
