@90smix Well with those stats, I’m surprised I got in. I figure it must be more difficult to get into a selective CSU because they don’t allow us the opportunity to write about ourselves and convince them of our worth.
I typed in on Twitter “cal poly slo” to see if any transfers were posting there and someone’s email said out of 65,000 applicants they had room for 5,400. He was also a business transfer. )-: im trying not to be sad but I know whatever’s meant to be for me will happen.

I got an email yesterday and did not even realize it . I WAS ACCEPTED!! Honestly did not have my hopes up as I was missing a major requirement for my major but I am in progress on the class. My GPA is 3.45 and I am a non local in state transfer student for the Business admin program. Also I am hispanic , I am sure this went into consideration since they struggle with diversity.

I wonder if we heard nothing because they did not announce it for psychology yet, or just because we simply didn’t make the cut. I hope more psych major will post or anyone heard anything about any psychology major admissions coming out. Someone posted yesterday that they got admitted to sociology, a different department but still, a very neighbor one.
I saw child development too but nothing in psychology. I’ve looked through twitter here and reddit and nothing. Hoping it hasn’t been released yet but also fearing the worst since not many are admitted for psych
Has anyone been admitted today though? I feel like acceptances are dying down. I realize this is only a small portion of transfer applicants though. I was a bit discouraged when I saw a transfer accepted on Twitter four days ago, so not sure how much longer acceptances will really be given out.
I am like you, fearing the worst. Honestly, if most of the majors were announced yesterday, I wonder why the psychology is the exception? They need to work on developing a more transparent system for admission decisions. It is the students’ future, and waiting for such a crucial decision is very consuming. Maybe announcing the dates of the announcements by the department.
No one has posted yet about admission today so far. I was not aware that some transfers were updated 4 days ago.

Got an email - I wasn’t expecting anything until later in the month so I was surprised to get an email from CalPoly. I am getting in with only one year of community college including this current semester (everyone said it can’t be done lol). Also, last semester I was going for a business concentration but decided Communications was more my interest and so I applied with Communications major, even though my first sem in cc took all business major requirements. This semester I am taking all Communications requirements.
