You can appeal their decisions. Although I don’t know what you would argue for your position since they don’t tell us “why” we were accepted, rejected or waitlisted.
On your Supplemental, how many hours did you put for job & volunteering? Did you select “yes” for 25% of your job is related to your major?

Was very surprised and upset that I was waitlisted since I had everything a good applicant would need to get accepted with a high GPA and completed all necessary coursework as well as extra business classes that weren’t part of the requirements.
The only thing I could think of that wasn’t on my side is I answered “no” on the question that asked “is at least 25% of your job is related to your major?”
Not going to get too down on myself since I still am waiting for my target schools SDSU, UCSD, and UCLA.
no you can only appeal a denial. I was waitlisted last year and they ended up denying me that last day on July 15th so I don’t recommend it.
Have any denials been sent out? Or are they sending any more acceptances? I attempted to email admissions but received no response.
Anyone know about Cal Grant Financial Aid? @Gumbymom ? Only the Federal Loans are showing in my CPSLO account but I was awarded Cal Grant A last year but that was put on Reserve while at Community College. If & when will the Cal Grant A show up in my Cal Poly Slo account? I already accepted the offer.

Really makes me wonder how they expect anyone who grew up here who can’t leave the area for whatever reason to attain higher education.
Wow, I am sorry to hear that. Your stats are incredibly strong. Did you have all the required classes and GE’s done? That’s the only thing I could think of that would lead to a rejection of a local with a 4.0.
If I were you I would look into appealing the decision. Cal Poly is the only university around here, and they need to serve the local community. In your appeal you can talk about your deep roots in the area and how you don’t want to or can’t leave.
I hope so. When I log in CASC my 2020/21 Award is still pending. I don’t know how to add Cal Poly SLO as my school in CASC, I listed it as my #1 in FAFSA.
