which one would you choose?

Cal Poly in every way. In my opinion the majority of UCI people act…annoyingly cocky. And i’m just against the UC system in general =/

What’s your major?

Im biological science at cal poly, and undeclared at UCI.
But im interested in psychology and bio…

That’s interesting. My friend got rejected by cal poly in bio, but accepted to uci. Both are great you can’t go wrong.

If your goal is to get into the best graduate school I’d lean towards UCI. If its to have the best learning experience provided by good to great teachers I’d go for SLO.

Well, I got into both and chose cal poly. I think I’ll get a better education with smaller classes, it will be easier to make friends, the location is AMAZING, and even though cal poly’s goal is to pump kids into the job force, there is still students who got into stanford/uc’s/etc. for grad school.

Yes, my son got into both as well and chose SLO for much the same reasons as 123321 plus every graduate we talked to across the age spectrum raved about the place; not true with the UCs.
