<p>Here's my case.</p>

<p>GPA 3.08 UW CSU GPA
SAT 1350 Math and Verbal
SAT II's
Math IIC 750
US History 720
EC's: Worked at a computer company for three months. Since I am a computer science major, I guess it helped.</p>

<p>my brother is a freshman there and he had
3.5uw, 3.6w (his only weighted classes were AP calc classes)
and he had a 1390 mv</p>

<p>For ecs he had guitar lessons once a week, and aside from that maybe 2 hrs of practicing a week.</p>

<p>Basically he did nothing</p>
