Cal Poly SLO

<p>Hey, everyone,
I've only applied to two instate schools and out of state Cal Poly and I plan to study computer programming.</p>

<p>Unweighted GPA: 3.50
CSU GPA: 3.69</p>

<p>ACT (28):
Math: 32
English: 25
Reading: 28
Science 26
Writing: 08</p>

<p>Work: 2 years ago I started my own free lancing business online where I get hired to do jobs for people directly relating to my field of interest, computer science.</p>

<p>AP: US History, AP Calculus, AP Physics
Senior Year: AP Statistics, AP Biology, AP Computer Science (Independent Study because my school does not offer this class)
I've passed all of the tests, never receiving below a 3.</p>

<p>Extra Curricular: Nothing in which I participated as a leading role.</p>

<p>For computer programming, it would be a low reach I think.</p>

<p>Computer engineering at Cal Poly is one of the most competitive major for admission.</p>

<p>Since both your GPA and test score is solidly under average, it will be a reach to high reach for you. Cal Poly admitted too many freshmen this year, and it will have even higher admission requirements next year to compensate for over admission. </p>
