<p>All are fine schools and will offer a great education and plenty of opportunities going forward. I’m guessing UW is out of state and much more expensive - if you aren’t made of money, that should weigh heavily. Among the others, they are very different environments. Go to the admitted student day at each and figure out which one ‘fits’ the best. Where will you perform best? Which one feels most like home?</p>

<p>As a Washington resident, the University of Washington makes the most sense from a cost perspective, and it is a fine place to study math.</p>

<p>Since you are concerned about rankings, and UW is both the highest ranked and least expensive, why is it even a question?</p>
<p>Yes, the slightly higher bar to enter the math major at UW may be a concern, but a student who gets below a 2.50 GPA in math courses will probably switch majors to something other than math.</p>
