Cal regents v. UCLA?

<p>Hey guys (:
I'm trying to choose between UCLA and Cal w/ regents, and I wanted to hear other thoughts on it.</p>

<p>Both schools are giving me basically the same financial package - Cal slightly more with regents.
I'm undeclared to both schools, so I'm hoping the priority enrollment provided by Cal will give me a little edge on the system (?).
I'm leaning toward engineering, something I didn't know until after I submitted apps, but I heard it's nearly impossible to transfer into the engineering schools.
I like UCLA's environment more, but I don't dislike Cal's environment.</p>

<p>I'm not really sure what else to say -- I'm visiting UCLA's campus for my second time this week, and I'm hoping to visit Cal's for my fourth time soon. </p>

<p>What do you guys think? Is Cal's regents/priority enrollment/connections worth giving up LA's beaches?</p>

<p>To be honest, i think you should go with the one you like more. it seems like you prefer ucla so i’d say go there. i’m currently tryin to choose between ucla (which gave me regents) and berkeley (which didn’t) and i prefer ucberkeley so i totally understand the position you’re in.</p>
