Did anyone else send in their SAT scores to Cal? I know that on the application they asked for your best score in a single sitting, but my best combined score is slightly less embarassing. Do you think this will be taken into consideration?

Being that decsions come out in 12 days or so, it realistically doesnt matter, but I was just wondering if anyone had any thoughts on the matter.

They don't take a composite score, they take a single sitting. You should have sent them in a long time ago. I almost used rush delivery to send mine because I sent mine on December 10th. If you haven't done so already, do so now and call them for the mistake.

I sent them in around december too, and i reported a single sitting score on my app, but my best single sitting score includes a terrible terrible math score. I was just wondering if they might refer to the other scores and give me the benefit of the doubt.

Ohh, that leads to a good question. Is it better to have a higher sitting with a low score in math if you're doing a science, or lower sitting with higher score in math?

No. They only look at single sitting.

They're probably done with decisions already.

Knowing the UCs, they're probably not.

It doesn't matter. They look at your top single-sitting. SAT II math might help if you got a high score on that.
