Cal State Admissions

<p>Hi guys,</p>

<p>I was just wondering if anyone knew the usual timeline for admissions to Cal-State colleges. I applied to Cal Poly San Luis Obispo and SDSU ( SDSU being my safety). The deadline for them was Nov 30th or 31st but today I found that I already have an acceptance email from SDSU. It has only been about three weeks since I applied and I am extremely surprised to be getting an email so quickly. I know that UC's usually send out decisions around April but is it normal to get Cal State decisions this early? How about Cal Poly?- im pretty interested in going there.</p>

<p>Cal States admit only on stats. (There's nothing holistic about it.) If you got good SAT scores/grades, and your EAs were okay, you got in. Congrats!</p>

<p>Think of them as rolling schools. They decide you're accepted--you find out immediately.</p>
