Hi, on the Cal State Apply website I entered a wrong test date for an ACT score and couldn’t change it, so I entered another ACT score with the correct test date. I also made another mistake of sending a duplicate SAT score, I added another SAT test, and now on my application it shows two SAT scores and ACT scores. So I officially sent my SAT scores to my colleges from the college board website. Will this harm me in any way? thank you
Schools will use the official test scores you have sent and if you reported both ACT and SAT, they will expect to official reports for both.
Is it a requirement to send in an official ACT scores from the ACT website to all my colleges or is it fine if I entered in unofficial scores from the Cal State Apply website applications?
If you want your ACT to be considered, you need to send an official score report. Since you reported both on the application, the CSU’s will expect both reports.
Ah I see, thank you. On my applications I reported duplicates and couldn’t remove them, will this harm me?
No, again they will go by the official score reports. You might want to email admissions at each school stating you made duplicate test score entries to set your mind at ease.
