I am in the category of students who attended an Orange County community college with a 2.0 G.P.A and completed all coursework by spring of 2010 but still no decision on my acceptance. I hope that letter is true and am wondering why i didnt get one…

I got my acceptance today, I’m a transfer student in the area with a 3.1 gpa, honors student etc.

What time did ya get accepted? was it an your email or just your portal?

I checked the portal about 5 o’clock. No email or anything.

^^ Dude me and my brother got accepted too and we checked at 5:00 so when we called they were closed, I’m a little worried that there is a mistake cause my brother hasn’t even finished the golden 4 and we have gpas 2.87 and 2.9!!! I hope that its true at least we have a back up

wow, i just checked the portal and they said that “your application has been withdrawn.” Anybody know why they did that? I have a 3.2 GPA and scored 1690 on my SATs. No reason was given! Anybody know whats wrong? I sent in my transcripts like two weeks before they were due! WHAT DID I DO WRONG? ugh this is stressing me out im gonna give the admissions office a call tomorrow…

^^^ Same here. “Cal State Fullerton has withdrawn your application. If this was in error, please contact the Admissions Office at (657)278-7788.”

I guess thats the polite way of saying rejected? SMH

Called earlier. They said if you they withdraw you if you didnt send in your transcript. And they told me even if I didnt get withdrawn, i would have been denied since the cutoff score was 3600. That is GPA x 800 + SAT R/M has to be higher or = to 3600.

That’s hard to believe. The average freshman at fullerton last year had a score of 3613.

http://www.fullerton.edu/analyticalstudies/quick_facts/FTF2009.pdf

3.27(800) + 997 = 3613

so the average student last year will not be admitted this year.

Mine still says “Your application is currently pending an admission decision. Please check back for an update on your admission status.”

got denied by fullerton today.
3.1 electrical engineering transfer, in state out of area.

Got accepted like 3 days ago Electrical Engineering, transfer gpa 2.87 in the area my friend for Business with gpa 2.5 and 4 Fs in his transcript and my brother for business also with gpa 2.9 and 1 golden 4 still not completed. We were All in the area. Lucky us I guess.

Cal State Fullerton is way behind on absolutely everything. Theyve recieved my transcripts and are now asking for my final transcripts. I applied months and months ago. My dad called and asked them *** was up, seeing as im higher than all their requirements. The ass on the other side of the line said “well, we can go all the way till the school year starts and still not tell you”. So your answer for if you think your ever going to get your acceptance letter before summer is no. The admissions office staff at csuf is completely incompetent and to say the least, dumb. I better get my acceptance letter or i will be ****ed. Because csuf really is an amazing university and campus and I really want to go there.

I agree with all the people who have not received any notification yet from CSU Fullerton. I myself am a transfer student and I STILL have not received anything. -_-
By the way, has any transfer student sent in their high school transcripts and the to-do list for that hasn’t been cleared yet? Because I sent in both my high school and recent college transcripts, and the college transcript one has been cleared but not the high school one on the list.

Your final transcripts are supposed to be sent once you receive your Spring grades at the end of the semester.

So Ive been accepted to Cal State Fullerton since December for Health Science. But, I have been slacking a little bit since then. I have never gotten anything lower than a C before, until recently. I ended my first semester with an 64% in pre-cal because of our “No “D” policy” in the math department, which resulted in an F. I was just wondering if I can still get rejected by then end of this second semester. I can’t afford to be rejected because it is one of the two schools that I had applied to. I got rejected from Cal state Long Beach because of the recent budget cuts. I would just like to clarify this if anybody has information. :[

@atd;
Cal states allow no F’s. Doesn’t matter which one, be it Chico or whatever else. They don’t even allow D’s. C or better. The only solution at this point would be to try and retake pre-cal at a community college, even though you’re still enrolled at high school, you can still take it at the same time. But you can’t retake it over the summer and still get in… everything has to be completed by June with nothing lower than a C, at least a 2.0 gpa. I think it’s too late to start a community college course at this point though… sorry. :/

@atd As i said my friend got accepted and as a matter of fact he has an F in Pre-Cal and 2 or 3 other classes, They haven’t told him if he needs to pass this classes, But he is transwfer, @debtsxtopay are you sure? i mean I have to tell my friend to do something about it if theyre going to reject him in jun for not taking the classes he has Fs in

@rjalali
yeah, I’m sure. I even double checked my acceptance letter. It said you need to complete all remaining coursework with grades of “C” or better, and if you’re not getting C’s, you need to notify admissions and records and they will “reevaluate” your admission status. The only exception is a D in the first semester of a math class, language class, or chemistry… and the guy above me received an F. It also says you may not complete any high school coursework during the summer term preceding fall admission.

EDIT: I don’t really know about transfers, though. I’m a first-time freshman so it may be different for transfers. He should call though.

i believe that your gpa can’t significantly drop from what you reported as a transfer student.
