Cal State Fullerton Fall 2014 TRANSFERS

Just got a big update that might help some of you make your decision.

I spoke to admissions today and they said they’re hoping to have all decisions sent out by June 1st, BUT they also said they are not accepting ANY out of area transfers unless they have a 3.3 or higher and said even if you haven’t heard back yet but you have lower than a 3.3 GPA, they recommend not waiting.

Hope that helps some of you in your decision making process.

Eesh. That’s a bit intense.

I know, she said a lot of people have been calling/emailing because it’s decision day for a lot of schools so they’re telling all out of area transfers what to expect to help make the decision process easier and not get false hope.

What’d they say about in-area transfer?

Nothing. She only told me out of area transfers because I’m an out of area transfer.

@successbound14 when you say “no out of area transfer” are you also referring to OCC students? I also live in Santa Ana, OCC Student with a 3.1 GPA

@Fab1993‌ OCC is not out of area

Still nothing here

my counselor says anything about 3.0 for majors that are not impacted are pretty good chances

I just got in!!! the waiting is finally over!! local area, 3.65 GPA, accounting major! I wish you all the best.

I got in this morning. No email as of yet, just checked the portal. I do not have anything in my to do list either, which made me worry… GPA 3.6, English major. I am local. no news on financial aid. I will prb be declining this though. I got into UCLA as well
Congrats to all those who are finally hearing from CSUF. :)

Still no decision. I think I’m just gonna have to have another year at CC. Bummer. Oh well. Congrats all

I got accepted in Mihaylo School of Business and Economics, Marketing major, about a month ago. My statistics are Junior transfer with approximately 2.7 GPA, Golden Four Completed, 62 units total (In-Progress Included), and an in-area Fullerton (Junior/Community) College applicant.

I was finally accepted yesterday! Keep looking @justadude91cs !

I was denied yesterday. Psychology major, 69 units (in progress included), 3.2 GPA, golden 4 complete, in state but out of area transfer.

I filed an appeal immediately, if I get denied again I’ll be attending Northridge in the fall.

Congratulations to everyone who has been accepted to Fullerton.

I’m trying not to be bitter, but I’m getting really frustrated re-reading this thread and seeing 2.7’a and 3.0’s and other people being accepted while I feel like I was denied with no good reason/explanation when I met all the admission requirements =</p>

Orange County Community College Students Will Have Priority… Even If Your Gpa Is Higher.

I haven’t heard back either. I have a 3.2 in area student. OCC Student. I’m anxious

I’m also taking a golem four requirement

Still nothing for me either… OCC Student as well.

For those who have been accepted/denied, did you find out through Application Status or did they send you an email?
