Hey collegeconfidential,
i have been granted provisional admission to CSULA. i completed all my GE's and Golden Four courses with grades of C or better. I'm currently taking calculus 3 and physics 1 at a CCC. question is, if i were to fail these 2 classes or receive a D, would my provisional admission be rescind?

thanks,
Dan

In short, yes.

Do everything you can to pass those classes. I understand the difficulty; I am taking multivariable and e/m myself this semester, but you need to get some help if you’re really thinking of failing. These courses are designed so that you can understand the material within a semester, no matter how hard they seem.

If you come up short, you need to provide an explanation, most likely, and your admission offer might be rescinded by the review committee. Also, you’ll probably have to make it up during your summer.

thanks for the reply @cidzor. would a W be better than F or D in this situation?
