***Cal State Northridge - Class of 2021 (Fall 2017 Applications) Decisions***

It’s probably too soon for any admissions decisions, but I am hoping to start a thread to see when applicants start hearing back from CSUN. If you receive a decision, please post below with the following:

Accepted // Denied
Instate // OOS
Intended Major
W UC GPA
UW UC GPA
SAT / ACT

Do you know around what time decisions are supposed to be released?

Each CSU campus is different as far as when they start sending out their decisions. So far, San Diego State, Cal State Fullerton, and Chico State are a few of the campuses that have already sent out acceptance letters to high stat applicants and some out-of-state applicants. My understanding is that they will continue to roll out decisions as late as late April.

I called CSUN today and they said they will start releasing out decisions this week through February

Cool! Thank you for the update @sdsupride

I haven’t gotten any emails with information, but myNorthridge Portal just told me I got provisionally accepted

Happy I got in!

Congrats @thedevlinator & @asinineayo! I keep checking my portal but it says they still haven’t received one of my transcripts. I sent it electronically the first week of Jan. Should it be taking this long? I have a hold as a tier 2 student since the majority of my credits are from out of area (I applied as a transfer from GCC).

Just got the acceptance email but my portal showed that I was provisionally accepted beforehand

Thank you! I applied locally

Yeah, actually. Have you heard anything about the animation program/do you know any art majors who are on the animation track? I’m trying to decide between CSU Long Beach and CSUN.
