I gather that different schools have different well-respected programs, e.g., Humboldt has geology, Monterey Bay has marine biology, and so on. Specifically, I'm wondering about psychology and/or child development programs in the CSU system. They all seem to have them, and the focus varies by program...but how do we find out if any given program is well-respected? Or can we trust that all are? There are so many CSUs, it would be hard to ask any one professional about the system overall.
