Cal tech, Standford, Please help and advice

<p>Hi I'm going to be a senior this year and I want to get a general idea of MY CHANCES at the schools of my choice.</p>

<p>I am Asian (Indian), I live in Southern California (), and I attend a large public school (3000+ students). My mom doesn't work and my dad is a Faculty @ UCLA
who makes $200,000+ a year.
GPA:
- 4.8 weighted GPA (top 5% of the school)
- 3.96 unweighted GPA</p>

<p>SAT I:
- 2300 (750 critical reading, 780 math, 770 writing)</p>

<p>SAT IIs:
- 770 on Math II
- 760 on US History</p>

<p>AP Tests:
- 3 on statistics
- 5 on Calc AB
- 5 on Calc BC
- 4 on Physics
- 5 on Chemistry
- 4 on Language and Composition</p>

<p>(taking 5 more my senior year: physiology, Gov and Econ, Lit, and Biology)</p>

<p>Sports:
- 2 years on Varsity Golf
- 1 year on JV Track and Field (100 meter dash)</p>

<p>Extracurriculars:
- 10 yrs of Piano every week Passes ADV level, won awards
- 6 yrs of BAss player at school, last 4years Symphony top Orchestra
-2 years of Academic Decathlete team in high school Science
- Math tutering club at school 2yrs
- Rocket club 2 yrs
- Many outstanding academic achievement awards in math.
- Piano tutoring for 6 months
- Volunteer at non profit Hospital , and a volunteer for piano player at senior center
- Math count , math competition club at UCLA last 2yrs every week
- Research intern(unpaid) at UCLA (over 100 hours)
- Swim team for 4yrs </p>

<p>Based on the information I have provided, please chance me for the following universities:
- Cal Tech
- Stanford
- UCLA
- Berkeley
-John Hopkins
- Duke
- Prinston
- Yale</p>

<p>Also, if you guys have any suggestions on how I can improve my chances at any schools, please give me some advice, and improvement.</p>

<p>Do an arts supplement for bass. Stringed bass is one of those instruments that schools generally need. </p>

<p>I hope that’s not your complete college list though. You need some less competitive schools (safeties).</p>

BASS is my Art supplement. Its a Big BASS.
My Safeties are:
UC Los Angeles
UC Berkeley
may be UC SF and UC SD</p>

<p>I thought UCSF was a graduate college only?</p>

<p>You have a lot more than what I had (and I got into UCB and UCLA). </p>

<p>Not sure about your chances for the other colleges. Maybe you might want to start those essays now, if they offer the prompts?</p>
