Where are you guys purchasing your textbooks?

Is Ned's Bookstore any good?

I've been comparing prices & it still seems like half.com offers the best prices, though you never know if you're getting the right edition. -_-

Many of my "textbooks" for this semester are regular books, so I'll probably go with half.com. I've had great luck both with buying and selling on half.com, you just have to be careful and ask questions if you are not sure.

I've bought my college books through amazon since I started at CC. I have most of mine for fall 08 already. There were a few times I got one for such a good deal I actually made decent money selling it back to the school bookstore at the end of the semester.

Amazon.com has some great deals for new as well as used books. Ned's will undercut the ASUC on half the book and have higher prices on the other half. Both are overpriced in general when compared to online sources.

what questions should you ask when you're buying books from half or amazon? I never know what to ask....

First and foremost ask what edition the book is... make sure it matches whatever edition will be used in your class.
