Thank you!

Also USC and Carnegie Mellon!

Maybe UCI and SB. I would add a safety. Engineering is very competitive and your GPA is going to make all of these UCs tough. I don’t see USC or CMU for the same reason.

I was hoping that my SAT and AP scores would help balance my GPA out. ):

No reason to show 9th grades, but… I would say Cal, and UCLa are going to be reachs. Cal tech and engineering is one of the hardest things to get into…

UCSD
UCI
UCSB
all should be matchs and I would say have a easy time to get in

USC might be a so-so match up… ffrom the people I know there your grades are in the middle.

If would say also add cal poly slo, really great engi field, best in the nation next to many of the top ranking UC’s!! GOODLUCK!

Alk, you’re a perfect candidate for a 3-2 program like Columbia’s. Your GPA will probably initially keep you out of a top college. But Columbia has a guaranteed plan with dozens of LACs. You spend 3 years at one of them, get a 3.0 and have a guaranteed transfer to Columbia.

Choose one of the LACs that takes AP credits, and you can make it a 2-2, and graduate from an ivy in 4 years total.

To me, this is an amazing gift to those wanting an engineering degree from a top school who couldn’t get in out of HS. Many of the LACs participating are darn easy to get into.

What’s an LAC?

And more chances anyone please? (:

I think your GPA is too low for CAL engineering. It’s a top 3 program in the country!

HAHA Well the one that I want to go to the most is UCSD because of their Nanoengineering program and it’s close to the beach! I think my preference is UCSD > UCLA > Cal > UCI > UCSB. Weird order huh?

ur good to go at usc, and all the uc’s except la and berk, way too many b’s and c’s

Thank you! Anyone more chances please?

I have a question for everyone! I have undeclared life science for all my uc’s but for my alternate major I put biological science, I know this is impacted, Will this hurt my chances? Even though it is JUST my alternate major. I am a mediocre student and can’t afford to hurt my chances.

I don’t see why your alternate major would affect your admission chances.

What are my chances of getting into UCI, UCD, or UCSC (HS Senior)
GPA:3.725
no AP classes taking, but taking AP Biology and possibly Honors English next semester of my Senior Year
ranked 35 out of 350 kids at my HS
SAT-taking them this week, looking at my PSAT scores, possibly going to score a 1650-1750
Achieved Scholar Athlete Award senior year
Football for 4 years
300+ community service hrs.
What are my Chances for these universities?? Please Help…

Can you guys make your own threads…

Bump Bump Bump (:
