cal vs UCLA

i got into berkeley and UCLA and i'm asking around to see which one i should go to.

for UCLA i got into "life sciences undeclared" and for berkeley it's "letters of arts and science undeclared"

i know that berkeley's a whole lot more competitive than LA, also more dangerous but has a better name

any comments / suggestions will be very much appreciated

whatever you do, don't pick based on the name. cal and ucla campuses have very different feels. spend time at each and see where you'd be happy living for 4+ years.

Let me make it easy for you....GO TO BERKELEY!!

where you're accepted doesn't matter - youre both in the college of letters & sciences for both schools. to do engineering or business or chemistry (at berkeley) or arts, you'd have to submit an application to their college [of engineering, etc]. so, either way, you face competition to switch . . .

this thread has been done a million times in college search & selection, uc berkeley, and ucla. i think itd be a good idea to do a quick search since . . . well, it's been covered head to toe.

Take Fisico's advice. There's no need for people at LA that submit to that kind of "logic".
