<p>Multivariable calculus is much more based on calculus 1 than calc 2 principals. I don't think it's entierly unreasonable to take calculus 3 before calculus 2 if you have a natural aptitude towards mathematics. I don't recommend skipping calculus 2 however. </p>
<p>I earned a A in calculus 1 and 3 and an A- in calculus 2.</p>
