B/c of AP score on calc AB, now placed in Calc 222. I have heard rumors that this is a very tough course - any thoughts?. Also, how does chem 109 and its sequence compare to the 103/104 chem course sequence. Any thoughts are appreciated.

don't know about calc (personally am starting at 221).

The chem sequence is essentially as simple as this: Chem 109 covers in one semester what Chem 103/4 covers in a year. Also, if you're looking into medicine, schools outside of those in the UW System might require you to take another semester of chem (many don't recognize 109 as a year of chem, though it technically covers that much).

I'm a senior now, and my only grade below a B EVER in college was in Math 222...but as a little bit more of an uplifting note, I didn't put as much time into it as I could have. It's not an impossible course, but, yes, it's harder than most courses. The students who take Math 222 are VERY competitive and that's part of the problem
