because our school requires us to take both the calc ab and bc classes
is it neccessary to take the ab test when i am going to take the bc test that covers all of the ab next year.
this saves 80 some dollars and relives some stress the day of the ap exam because i have would have calc in the morning and world history the same afternoon

No

When you take the BC test it gives you an AB subscore ( I think)

BUT something might happen and you might end up not taking BC for whatever reason. So I definitly would take it just to be safe, its not that hard an exam.

Are you a junior taking AB? If you're confident about the AB test and would like your score to show up on your college application, you should take it at the end of this year.

no im a sophmore
but im just worried that taking it will affect my world history score in the afternoon
if they were on different days i would probably just take it

Yeah as Nalcon says, BC gives you an AB subscore. So basically, if you're gonna take BC, there's no point of taking the AB.
